10 All-time Highest Goal Scorers of La Liga

Alfredo Stéfano Di Stéfano Laulhé, nicknamed “Saeta rubia”, played a major role in Real Madrid’s domination of the European Champions’ Cup throughout the 1950s. He was voted as the most outstanding Spanish player of the past 50 years and received the “Golden Player of Spain” award by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. Spanish footballer Alfredo di Stéfano scored a total of 227 goals in 329 La Liga matches in his club career from 1953 till 1966. He achieved 0.69 goals per match ratio while playing in the Spanish league and is inducted in the fifth place in our list of 10 All Time Top Scorers of La Liga for scoring fifth most goals in the League’s history. Stéfano, in his La Liga career, scored a total of 216 goals in 284 matches while playing for Real Madrid between 1953 and 1964. Besides his club career, he also scored a total of 23 goals in 31 international appearances for the Spanish national football team from 1957 till 1961.

  1. In my opinion, Cristiano Ronaldo has the opportunity to be the best striker of Real Madrid. He’s doing extremely well, probably will win UCL this year.
