Why Zinedine Zidane is not happy with Real Madrid display, despite Las Palmas win?
Zinedine Zidane is critical of Real Madrid display in their 2-1 win over Las Palmas on Sunday, and has warned his players “we won’t go anywhere”.
“I’m happy with the result but a little angry with the second half,” the Coach said after the game.

“We came away with the three points, but we’ll go over the game [on Sunday] and analyse what happened. I’m concerned about the second half.
“I didn’t think the players were thinking about the Champions League, rather they were thinking about the game [on Sunday].
“If we want to win [a trophy], we have to play better. If we don’t, we won’t go anywhere, but I’m convinced we can put on a better performance.

“Alvaro [Arbeloa] is a Real Madrid player and I think he played very well, considering he was the only one who hadn’t played under me.
“I don’t think football is unfair, we won the game because two set-pieces are part of football.
“Las Palmas did very well and put us in trouble with players who handle the ball wel, but more than that, it’s our game which bothered me.”
While, Keylor Navas feels Real Madrid lost their focus in the second half, which nearly cost them 3 points.
“We’re aware that we didn’t have our best second half. We know that playing like that it will be difficult to win games, we got away with it today put we have to improve a lot more.”
“There were moments when we weren’t concentrating and we gave the other team chances. They’re mistake that we make and the other teams try to create chances from. That game is a long way off. We’ve got Sevilla first, that’s an important game and we have to focus on that.”
