After a draw against Villarreal, Real Madrid was all set to gain a win against Las Palmas on Sept 24th, 2016. However, the match ended with a draw. this left the Los Blancos players upset and frustrated. Real Madrid star, Ronaldo, upon whom lies the expectations of the fans and the team, was unable to give a great performance, and was visibly upset. But, the most prominent display of his frustration was when Zidane decided to substitute him. Yes, the world watched a subbed Cristiano Ronaldo getting angry at Zidane as the Real Madrid manager decided to pull CR7 off the field during the La Liga clash with Las Palmas.

Anyone who follows football or reads world entertainment news knows what a hot-headed man Cristiano Ronaldo is. Time and again, his anger has come out on and off the field. Sometimes, it has been against a fellow footballer, sometimes, against a pest of a reporter. Sometimes, his anger has erupted against a stalker trying to step into his private zone. A man of many emotions, Ronaldo is someone who has never hidden his dark and angry side, just like he has never been ashamed or secretive about his romantic, loving, giving and even emotional sides. as CR7 left the field, without so much as making eye contact with or looking at his manager, his anger and frustration came out again.

Ronaldo’s injury kept him off the field for a long time in the beginning of the 2016 season. And, even though his few matches were tremendous shows of his skills, thing have slowed down. It is safe to say that Ronaldo is so far having a slow start of the season, at least in comparison to his previous years. There has also been a lot of criticism about his performance in the previous season, as well as talks and speculations about his possible decline, by critics.

Be it the overly critical attitude of the media towards him and the pressure to prove all of that wrong, or his desire to do well and score goals, not just for his team but also for himself, there are many reasons for Ronaldo to be frustrated. Naturally, when Ronaldo got substituted in the 73rd minute, he got angry for getting withdrawn from another opportunity to prove himself.
