Iceland coach Lars Lagerback has questioned Cristiano Ronaldo and Pepe antics ahead of Euro showdown

Cristiano Ronaldo and Pepe could make a great  career in Hollywood because of their acting skills, according to Iceland coach Lars Lagerback.

Iceland will face Portugal in the their first match of the Euro 2016 on Thursday, as they mark their first appearance in any major tournament.

And ahead of the kick off Lagerback has called for action against the players who try to fool  the referee, and suggested that both Cristiano Ronaldo should be monitored closely due to their track-record.

“Portugal have one of the best players in the world in Ronaldo but he’s also an excellent actor,” the 67-year-old said. “In the final of the Champions League against Atletico, we saw another performance from someone who could be in Hollywood.

“I mention Pepe. I mean, you can see the clips… for me, that is acting, really, of high class. But I don’t know what demands they have in Hollywood.

“I don’t like that. I’d like it if they were able to watch the videos to retrospectively punish that sort of thing.”

While, Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos has jumped into the defense of De Gea,after he has been accused of underage sex abuse.

“It´s not very nice news to receive, yet obviously when it affects a teammate then he needs all the support he can get from the entire squad, so we have to give him that,” the Real Madrid defender told reporters.

“Even so, we haven´t needed to come together as there has always been a great atmosphere here and we all have the same aims.

“Anyway, I ask the fans to back us regardless of what happens. We´ll give our all and do our best to leave here with our heads held high,” he maintained.
