However, newly appointed Los Blancos manager has refused to give up on the La-Liga title, as he is hopeful that their arch-rivals could eventually drop points at the some stage, with they have no sight margin for errors.
“We haven’t said goodbye to the League at all, although it’s more difficult now,” he said after the game.
“We’ill never drop our heads because there are still many points at stake.

“Other teams may also drop points, although I’m not thinking of the other teams, only to follow whatever happens.
“We won’t disconnect ourselves [from the title]. Such concerns don’t exist, there’s still the League and Champions League and we’ll fight to the end no matter what.
“I didn’t think we didn’t play well. We had difficulties with the second ball, but we didn’t play badly. We had our chances.
“Our recent games are reasons for our optimism. We had chances to kill off the game, but ultimately we have to move on because the games we had before were phenomenal.
“Our last game was away from home in the Champoions League and we won it.
“It was a difficult game, and that’s it. I only have to analyse my team and reflect [on my findings].
“Together we’ll do something. For me and my players, La Liga isn’t lost in any way, shape or form.”
