Rafa Benitez believes Real Madrid attacker  Gareth Bale has quality to become best player in the World.

The Welsh International has scored 50 goals for Real Madrid in over 100 games, and helped Los Blancos to win Champions League and Copa Del Rey during his debut campaign at Santiago Bernabéu.

Real Madrid splashed record €118million to acquire the services of Bale from Tottenham in 2013, with the view of long term replacement for club’s all time top scorer Cristiano Ronaldo.

Rafa Benitez, who had the chance of managing Bale during his seven month tenure at Real Madrid has backed him to become best player in the World.

“I never had a moment’s problem with Gareth. He was a very solid professional who listened,” Benitez told the Mirror.

“He did his work on the pitch and in the gym too.

“But what I see in him most is improvement. There are areas of his game that he continues to work on. He can get better.

“Obviously, he’s a very good player now. But in a couple years if he carries on, I don’t see any reason why he could not be regarded as the best.”

Benitez believes this Real Madrid attacker has quality to become best player in the WorldTalking about the Premier League, former Real Madrid  sporting director Jorge Valdano has suggested it lacks tactical sophistication as compare to La-Liga.

“The Spanish clubs have a very large window for success compared to the other teams. We fill our mouths talking about the Premier League, but it is far from competitive with Spain.

“English football is deeply rooted in culture in which the public celebrates a throw-in or a corner. It is a football that lacks tactical sophistication, in which teams are driven by a very large emotional climate created by the public more so than the coaches.”
