“We must continue doing our jobs.
“And if somebody comes with the right offer we have to listen but it does not mean we have to sell.
“We will try to keep a strong squad with the same ideas.
“Some players may be waiting for a big offer from a top side in the Premier League or in Europe.
“But if they have to stay then they have to stay, that’s it.

“We will be disappointed but it’s only because we are in the Championship.”
When asked about incoming business, Benitez added: “We are working and trying to improve the squad.
“It’s not easy now and the market is quite crazy.
“There are crazy prices everywhere but we will try to do our best.”
Meanwhile, Real Madrid have allegedly turned a €10m bid for highly rated Lin Lianming from an unknown club, according to the Football Espana.
“Real Madrid have reportedly turned down an offer of €10m for Chinese starlet Lin Lianming.
“AS reports the approach came from Hebei China Fortune, who first put €7m on the table and when that was rebuffed, went up to €10m.
“Madrid signed Lin from Guangzhou R & F a year ago for a €300,000 fee but Hebei, who have Ezequiel Lavezzi and Gervinho on their books, wanted to repatriate the 19-year-old.”
