Marcelo credited Zinedine Zidane for turning around Real Madrid season. Real Madrid struggled to gain any sort of momentum under Rafael Benitez, as a result he was shown exit door in January.
There were doubts that whether Zidane is ready to take the job of a club like caliber of Real Madrid, but Frenchman appointment saved Los Blancos’s season from disaster. The season which was heading towards disappointment, Zidane’s introduction not only installed sense of belief among the Los Blancos faithfuls, but also changed atmosphere inside the dressing room.

Zidane has not only guide Real Madrid to the Champions League final, but they can still have a slim hope of winning La-Liga.
“The boss has helped us a lot, he has given us strength,” Marcelo said.
“We spoke amongst ourselves and we needed to change some things. We have changed and it has been for the better.

“I don’t think they will be laid back. Teams always play strongly against Madrid, I’m certain that Deportivo will want to win… and so do we. I think it’s going to be a good game.”

“It is the last game in La Liga, Deportivo will definitely want to win and it will be different.
