“I have a contract. I haven’t been told anything but I’m not worried, because I know the club value my performance,” Mundo Deportivo quotes Suarez as saying.
“Leo’s fine, he’s enjoying his holiday, but he’s eager to start playing. It was a shame what happened in the Copa America, but he has personality and always leads from the front. What he needs is support,” Suarez said, Messi having missed a penalty in the shootout in the final.

“I hope he doesn’t leave the national team. As a friend and football fan. There was a lot of talk that Spain wanted him to play in the youth set-up but he chose Argentina and his love for his country is indisputable. It’s true what happened was difficult but I think he’ll reconsider.”
Suarez welcomes Andre Gomes and hopes Barca will sign Luciano Vietto: “Vietto is a great player, and I liked him when he played for Villarreal. He’s not had many chances at Atletico, but his quality is beyond doubt. He’d certainly fit in nicely here,” Suarez said, Mundo Deportivo reports.
“Whichever forward comes, he’ll be well-received. He’ll come to add to the team and to work. Rotations? We always agree when the Coach makes rotations.
“Gomes was one of Valencia’s most eye-catching players. He can help us and contribute a lot. He’s a player who creates imbalance and can use both feet. We’re happy to have him.”
