Chelsea legend believes Ronaldo deserves FIFA Ballon D’Or
Former Chelsea star Didier Drogba believes Cristiano Ronaldo has earned his right to win FIFA Ballon D’Or this year.
The 31-years old won Champions league with Real Madrid last season, and was a catalyst to Portugal’s Euro 2016 success.
It was the first ever European title for Portugal, and Ronlado’s overwhelming success has made him front- winner to claim Ballon D’Or after losing to Lionel Messi last year.

Drogba hailed Real Madrid star leadership qualities, leading Portugal from the front, and feels Ronaldo will be the worthy winner of football’s biggest individual honour.
“I played against Cristiano in the Champions League final in 2008; he won with Manchester United against Chelsea,” Drogba told AS.
“He is a true leader and he deserves the Ballon d’Or for the great work he has done for Real Madrid and Portugal. Although he could not play the whole Euro 2016 final, he was the biggest reason that his team got there.”
