Sportwitness translated story of El Confidencial, which claimed Juni Calafat, a Brazilian  Real Madrid scout happens to be friend with Neymar, received message from Barca ace saying “I’m a Madridista. Hala Madrid”.

“The story revolved around Juni Calafat, a Spaniard who was raised in São Paulo, Brazil. He has a friendship with many Brazilian players, including Ronaldo, Kaká, Roberto Carlos… and, naturally, Neymar.

“Calafat works for Real Madrid ain recruitment and has helped the club with several of their recent signings, having risen through the ranks from a previously South America based role.

“According to El Confidencial, in 2014 Juni went on holiday to Spain and, on arriving, got a message saying: “Juni, have you arrived well in Spain? You know I’m a Madridista. Hala Madrid!”

“The message, of course, was sent by Neymar.

“Juni apparently showed the message to some close associates, and one of them would appear to be El Confidencial’s source, with the message only now reaching the news.”
