“Yes, we’ve started talking. I can confirm this,” he told Polsat Sport. “I won’t talk about specifics, because it’s confidential.

“Real have not conducted talks over a transfer. It’s just speculation. Rumours around Robert show what a player he is. He’s known not only in Poland or Germany, but throughout Europe.

“There are no talks with PSG. The English write about English clubs, the French about PSG, the Spaniards Real Madrid, and Juventus in Italy. In each country a great club is linked with Robert.

“But Lewandowski is at a team that suits him, and there is no need to change anything.

“I know Rummenigge is aware that Lewy is a great player, who has great value for Bayern, and how such a boy should be rewarded.”

Robert Lewandowski's agent speaks about his future, amid Real Madrid interestWhile, according to Football transfer website Sportwitness, Real Madrid almost signed Watford January signing Adalberto Peñaranda, as quoted by Spanish publication AS:

“The 18-year-old was signed from Udinese, and was sent back on loan to Grananda, where he was already on loan. The highly rated Venezuelan striker became the youngest foreigner to score a brace in the La Liga breaking Lionel Messi’s record.

“Three years ago, Peñaranda was part of a training camp in Venezuela organised to scout around 5000 youth players. The training camp was organised in partnership with Real Madrid, and after two weeks of screening, Peñaranda was invited to train with Real Madrid and also watch a game.

“AS claim Peñaranda and two other youth players impressed Juan José Vallina (current coach of Real Madrid C), but Real Madrid couldn’t sign them because the club were wary of FIFA’s rules to sign foreign minors, for which they were sanctioned a transfer ban recently.
