Morata has been linked with a move away from a Spanish capital, and reportedly Real Madrid has already rejected a big-money offer for Euro 2016 star.

However, former Juventus man is exciting to work under Zidane, and has credited Serie-A Champions for his rapid rise.

“It’s amazing to be here again and I’m looking forward to starting. It’s a dream and I’m looking forward to working with all the enthusiasm in the world,” Morata told Madrid’s official website.

“I hope I can get there as soon as possible so I can get started. [Coach Zinedine] Zidane works hard and imposes a lot of physical work.

“I enjoyed two incredible years at Juventus, where I learnt very, very much. I can only be grateful to the club, because without them I wouldn’t be here.”
