Former Real Madrid manager Jose Camacho  has told Rafa Benitez to shut up, says he shouldn’t talk about his time at the club.

Camacho feels Real Madrid were right to appoint Zidane as the manager of club, as he insisted that Los Blancos are heading into the right direction.

The Spain boss believes Zidane status as  a player will help him as a manager, and pointed the fact that how attitude of Los Blancos squad has changed since Frenchman has taken charge of the club.

Benitez could only last for seven month, after he was appointed at the in the summer and reflect upon his time at club when he appeared on BT Sport on Wednesday.

“Benitez is bitter with Real Madrid. If I was him, I’d keep my mouth shut,” Camacho stated. He added that the appointment of Zidane was the correct one and the club will move forward under the 1998 World Cup winner.

“He talked about the past, what’s already happened, and I don’t think he said anything new or important. But if you have something to say, better to say it when you’re inside the club, not outside.

While Marco Materazzi couldn’t avoid taking dig on Benitez, and has branded him overrated coach.

“I would be the last person to try and cause problems, but just look at what happened in London (Chelsea), Napoli or Madrid,” he told Sky.
