Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo reveals that his dedication and hard-work are the main reason of his success, after making an eight appearance on the FIFA Ballon d’Or podium.
Despite of fail to make three Ballon d’Or in the row, Real Madrid top scorer remains upbeat, as he is aiming to score another 500 career goals, while admitting it would ask with Portuguese International whowill turn 31 in February.

Cristiano Ronaldo was overlooked for FIFA player of the year, after scoring 57 goals for club and Country as Real Madrid fail to win any piece of silverware.
“It’s a special award. You work hard during the year to achieve great things, not just collective but individual things too,” he said at the Press talk ahead of Monday’s gala in Zurich.

“It’s a beautiful award and we are nominated again, it’s my eighth time that I’m here so it’s a great credit to be here one more year.
“It’s a unique trophy and it’s great. My favourite words are dedication and hard work.
“You have to be serious in your job, to be here for the eighth time is not by coincidence, we all have talent but the talent without the work is nothing. I love to play football and to beat records too.”
“I hope I’ll score another 500 goals but it will be tough. I am still young and want to play for many more years. All the records are always an extra, the icing on the cake. I never dreamt of breaking Di Stefano’s records, or Raul’s – all those legends you know.
“But I got there during my seventh season here. Obviously it was all with the help of my team-mates – nobody plays alone. It is my job to help the team win trophies and to score goals. My goal is always to be at the top level. I love to make people happy. I am a happy person.
