“There have been good times and bad times. That’s life. Four years ago I wasn’t happy because things happened I didn’t like. Now I’m happy and I want to continue because I don’t see any club better than Madrid. If you put everything in balance, there’s nothing better. Forget PSG? Forget everyone. Madrid is the best.
“I like to play. People say to me ‘Cris, you’re not 20…’ I have to learn to stop every few games. 3am ice baths? They make me feel good. If I go out with my friends, I have one when I get home because I feel good.”

Meanwhile, Bale has hailed Zidane‘s approach to deal with players, he was speaking to BT Sport.
“He’s been great since he’s come in. Everyone respects him as a football and a man and now as a coach. He’s just got that aura about him. Whatever he says everyone really just drools over the words he says. Whatever he says you trust in what he’s saying. He knows football obviously from when he played,” he said of the Frenchman.
