Atletico striker is hopeful that Real Madrid ace will return for France
France international Antoine Griezmann says he is hopeful that Real Madrid ace Karim Benzema and Lyon playmaker Matieu Valbuena return to the national side for the squad of European Championship.
The Real Madrid striker has been suspended from the national team by the French Football Federation, due to his alleged involvement in Valbuena’s sex tape controversy. Karim Benzema has been accused of blackmailing Lyon man to extort money from him.

Since the case has been surfaced, the Real Madrid striker was dropped from the France national team, and has been told that he will not consider for selection until he clears his name.
And Antoine Griezmann hopes both players would overcome their issues to represent France in the Euros.

“I hope they will both return. They are two important players for us, on the field and off. We need them. They would both have the same goal at Euro 2016, to win, so I think they would put that above everything. But what has happened has happened, we will see where it leads.
While, Espanyol legend Raul Tamudo says Real Madrid players looked more focus under Zidane.
