Real Madrid rejects €75 bid for Alvaro Morata from Chelsea

Real Madrid has turned down Chelsea’s €75 bid for Alvaro Morata, according to the reports.

New Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is a big admirer of the Spanish International, and wants to sign him in order to boost Chelsea’s striking options.

But, Conte was coy when he was asked about the reported bid: “We know our targets and the most important thing is that, between me and the club, there is a great synergy on the transfer market.

“We know our targets and, for me, this is the most important thing. It’s not important to speak outside but, to keep the secret in this moment, I think is very important.”

“Batshuayi is a young player but he has great potential for me. Technique, great talent, two feet, also very fast.

“It’s normal – this is the third day for him to start a new season. The third day of training and today I wanted to see if in the three days he understood the tactical aspect.

“He can improve. He can become a strong forward. He is very young with great talent and I am happy for him and the other players.”

While earlier speaking about the situation of Morata at Real Madrid, Zidane said that he is happy to keep the player.

However, Frenchman  refused to assure whether Morata will stay at Real Madrid, amid strong interest from Chelsea.

He [Morata] is another member of this team. He’s back and I’m happy to have him,” said Zidane.

“We have a large squad and all the players will be important. Alvaro will be one more of the team.”
