Los Blancos Captain Sergio Ramos insists Real Madrid to deserved to win European Super Cup, following their narrow 3-2 victory over Sevilla on Tuesday.

“I think the whole team were deserved winners of this trophy,” maintained Ramos, whose stoppage time equalizer took the game into an extra 30 minutes.
“I’m super happy and had the good fortune to level things. Despite conceding the penalty you must turn the page and keep fighting to turn things around.
“It’s always important to give everything and Madrid’s DNA is not only to win, but also to fight and compete whether there is a minute or a second left.

While, Sevilla winger Vitolo on the contrasting emotions describe European Super defeat as his worst day of his life.
“This has possibly got to be one of the worst days of my life,” the 26-year-old told beIN Sports immediately after the match.
“But the team stood up and I have to congratulate the players, who gave everything, and also our supporters.
“We had to withstand everything against a team like Real Madrid and then they scored the winning goal that made us look foolish.”
