Cricket legend  Sachin Tendulkar and Cristiano Ronaldo will team up for Smaaash Entertainment venture, a sport -based virtual entertainment company co-owned by former Indian International.

Smaaash Entertainment is planning to launch 65,000-sq ft virtual gaming arcade, with Football, cricket and other Sports on three different venues in Middle East. In its first phase Smaaash will set up  virtual gaming arcade in  Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and then two months later in  Dubai, according to founder Shripal Morakhia, while the company is investing estimated  15 crore on virtual games.

We do not take Smaaash as an endorsement; it is a partnership with like-minded people who are passionate about doing interesting work,” Perdro Moreira dos Santos, media officer at Polaris Sport, who represent Ronaldo, said in his interview.

Speaking about the deal with Real Madrid star Shripal Morakhia told the media.

“We perfected our electronic ball-throwing machines with cricket and are now extending that to soccer,” Morakhia said.

He further added,

“We have seven soccer challenges through which you can find out what percentage of Ronaldo is in you, but Smaaash is also about the games Ronaldo loves.”

Smaaash introduced their trademark project of virtual games  in 2013, with  cricket pitches fitted with the bowling machines, and for football same machines will be modified accordingly for passing ball or shot on goal.

Smaaash is also planning to launch this project in London in coming years, and they are hoping to extend the contract of  former Manchester United star , with in March company will combined with Real Madrid star to develop the shooting games.

Although, Shripal Morakhia refused to reveal the actual value of Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract, however he revealed it will for at-least five years  and comprise on annual fee which will cover Middle East and India.

Smaaash signed their cricket venture with  Sachin Tendulkar, who holds 18% shares in the company.
