Real Madrid attacker Lucas Vasquez says Cristiano Ronaldo is the key along with Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema, if Los Blancos wants to overtake Barcelona and Atletico de Madrid in the title race.
Real Madrid put one of their best attacking display of the season in their 10-2 victory over the Rayo Vallecano, before the winter break, with BBC combined to demolish their neighbours. Real Madrid first front-three choice has not got many chances to play together with Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema missed the major chunk of the campaign due to respective injuries, as a result Cristiano Ronaldo also struggles in their absence.
However, Vasquez says when the BBC is on the song, rest of players have an easy job.

It is really positive for us when the three players are doing well. It is a bonus and we really notice it. It is evident that when we have so much space in the opponent’s half we are lethal and we saw that today,” he commented.
“The first time a team had scored 10 in a top flight match in Spain in 55 years – the winger commented: “The game began a little crazily, and after the first sending off, we were more comfortable. We made the most of the rival’s opponents and in the end the three points are very well-deserved. Finishing like that before this little break gives us a lot of confidence.
