What Rafael Benitez said about his relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo?
Real Madrid manager has commented on his relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo, amid the reports of rift between the pair.
Following, Real Madrid defeat on the Saturday at Bernabeu, there were reports that Cristiano Ronaldo has confronted the former Liverpool boss and blame him for their loss in the first el-clasico of the season. However, Rafael Benitez again denied the rumors of falling out with Real Madrid top scorer:
“No, absolutely not. Cristiano is a fantastic player and crucial for us.”
Rafael Benitez has find himself in the difficult situation at Spanish Capital, after Real Madrid has lost two league games in the row. But, his position at club is at lest save for now, as Club president Florentino Perez has offered him his full support, after Spanish media claimed that in wake defeat against Barcelona he will face the immediate sack.
Meanwhile, speaking to the media ahead of Real Madrid clash with Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League he said:

“We have spoken about the mistakes we have made, and that starts with me. We are out to do as well we had been, The two defeats must not affect the impression of growth we offered as team.
“In football you can not guarantee the results, but the thing you can guarantee is dedication and the effort in our fight to give our fans something to cheer about.
“We have difficulties in last two games. What we have to do is to stick together to keep on doing as well as we had beforehand.
“The group has top quality and professionalism and we have to move in the same direction to get the positive results.”
