Villarreal midfielder reveals Sergio Ramos asked me to join Real Madrid
Bruno Soriano has reveals that Sergio Ramos has asked him to join Real Madrid, following Villarreal‘s 1-0 win over Los Blancos on Sunday.
“For several years I have been trying to get a very good player to swap shirts with”, He told reporters.
“Ramos has good things to say about me and I’m grateful. It’s true that he asked me to sign for Real Madrid. That coming from a player of his level is welcome.”

Victory on Sunday has taken Yellow Submarines to the fifth spot on the La-Liga standing, three points behind the third placed Real Madrid, but Soriano insisted that they are on the different level. However, he feels Villarreal deserved their win against Los Blancos. “
“The truth is that perhaps a draw against Madrid would have been the right result but we didn’t suffer too much to hold onto the result so I think a win is fair.
“We had many chances in the first half. We are happy. We always want to play at this level, with this intensity and win these games.
“Sometimes we can’t win for several reasons but it is true that we have to play well to win against Madrid, or anyone else.
“The win over Real Madrid does not mean anything. They are in another league and we are aware that the Madrid game is over.

We are humbly trying to get as high up the table as possible and we’re not looking down at Madrid but other rivals who we know we can beat.
