Cristiano Ronaldo mocked his Real Madrid teammate James Rodriguez for his recent over-speeding incident at the weekend.

According to Spanish media, the Colombian International was driving his car at the speed of  200 kilometres per  hour, while passing Madrid’s M40 ring road in in his black Audi R8, James Rodriguez caught the attention of the police on Friday, before stopping at the club’s training ground.

While it wasn’t enough to make day bad for former Porto man, who was the butt of jokes among his teammates in the training, ahead of Real Madrid trip to Valencia.

In a video Cristiano Ronaldo appeared to make fun of  James Rodriguez’s over-speeding violation in the Real Madrid training. The Portuguese International can be seen in the video imitating his driving in a  quite hilarious way.

James Rodriguez’s car chasing saga made to the front pages of Madrid based newspaper Marca and As, as they run the headline on Saturday “with the cops on his heels” and “James.

The Colombian International was late for training, when he was chased by undercover police car while Real Madrid star was caught breaking the speed limit on Madrid’s M40 motorway. The police chased him for five kilometers on his way to Valdebebas training ground, where James parked his car.

Speaking about the incident the former Monaco star claimed that he afraid of kidnapping, after watching a a car fast approaching towards him. The Real Madrid star is likely to face a hefty fine and could also lose his driving licence for six month after failing to obey police officer.

Commenting on his car chase incident  Real Madrid’s head of PR of PR Emilio Butragueno said:

“[On James Rodriguez missing the game due to his police chase], James spoke to his Coach [on Saturday] and explained the situation.

“He definitely didn’t [get dropped for his involvement].”
