Transfer news: Neymar hold talks with Real Madrid?
Barcelona winger Neymar hold talks with Real Madrid in Zurich ahead of Ballon d’Or ceremony, according to Spanish media.
The Brazilian International is on the top of the wishlist of Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez to replace Cristiano Ronaldo. According to the reports, Neymar, along with his agent Wagner Ribeiro, and his father met with Real Madrid representatives, in Zurich before the Ballon d’Or event.
However, Neymar Sr. has rubbished the rumors of any meeting with Real Madrid, and revealed that it has nothing to do with reality.

“The meeting in Madrid is a silly invention.
“We were all together in the same hotel, the Barca and Madrid parties, and we greeted everyone, but the meeting is an invention.”
Andre Cury [an agent who usually handles Barcelona’s affairs in South America] is a Barca employee, so how are we going to meet with Madrid if he was there? It does not make any sense!”

I am the sole representative of Neymar and the only one who can negotiate,” he explained. “Me, not anyone else.”
We have a contract here until 2019,” he reiterated. “Neymar is happy here and his will is to renew his contract at the end of the season. We are a bit fed up with this and just want to live in peace and enjoy the moment with Barcelona.”
Meanwhile, Franz Beckenbauer believes Polish International Robert Lewandowski could leave Bayern Munich for Real Madrid.
Lewandowski is a possible candidate for Madrid,” AS reports Beckenbauer writing in a column in a German newspaper.
Beckenbauer rejected the idea that Thomas Muller could also leave the Allianz Arena, however, citing comments made by the player himself.
“He’s already stated he wants to stay at Bayern, which means the fans love him even more than before.”
