Sergio Ramos comments on Barcelona’s La-Liga title success
Sergio Ramos has admitted that Barcelona deserve to win La-Liga title, and insisted Real Madrid are in good spirit ahead of the Champions League final.
“It’s a shame we’ve not been able to win La Liga but we’ll learn from it for next year. The team who makes the fewest mistakes is the one who takes the title,” he told the Madrid website.
“We’ve been here until the end and you’ve got to congratulate Barcelona because they are deserving winners of this league.

“We’re proud of how the team has put the pressure on Barcelona and had belief until the last moment. It’s easy to have an opinion now, you remember a lot of games and all the points you’ve dropped.
“Our aim was to put the pressure on and we’ve done that. It’s great for us in terms of morale heading into the Champions League final. Now we have a beautiful Champions League final that we want to win to make it an unforgettable year.
Gerard Pique claimed Barcelona had to win the league, after suffering series of defeats last month, having knocked out of the Champions League.

“We’re very happy to follow the winning dynamic of last season,” the defender said after the game.
“We’re living through a very important part of the history of this club.
“It’s the first time the club have won six out of eight titles.
“We had to win [the League] twice. When we were eight or 10 points clear, we had it won.
“Then there was a moment when it seemed that we had lost it, despite the fact we still depended on ourselves.
“We wouldn’t have won this title 20 years ago because we often sank into our own pessimism.
“However, this generation is different. We’re a winning team who always show their faces and can be trusted.
“We don’t need to do anything else now. It’s clear that if we win the Copa [del Rey] then the season will be better.
“Sevilla can beat you over one game, but I think our consistency has been magnificent.”
“[On the title celebrations], I’ll give them my all. I don’t know about the others!”
