Real Madrid striker  Karim Benzema has insisted that he wants to stay at Real Madrid, and rubbished the rumors linking him to Manchester United.

“I am happy here and I hope to be here for many years,” Benzema said.

“I thank the people in Madrid for being there for me and my family. Thanks to everybody because they are part of my life and we are going to be used to winning titles.”

“I am very proud of the team and I am glad because it is a very important title for everybody.

“I have to thank to the supporters, the club’s president [Florentino Perez], the coach [Zinedine Zidane], the players and today we are in Madrid’s history.”

Meanwhile, midfielder Mateo Kovacic has ruled out return to Inter Milan, as Real Madrid misfit has been linked with a return to Seria- A.

“I won’t go back there with Mancini on the bench,” he said.

“I had a weird relationship with him, but these are personal things and it’s best not to get into them.

“I don’t know what will happen in the future, nobody does. I had two-and-a-half years with Inter and I’m a fan.”

Atletico Madrid defender Juanfran says that fate owes them two Champions League titles, after suffering yet another set back in the hands of Real Madrid.

Fate no longer owes us one Champions League, it owes us two.” he said at a promotional event for Adidas, Marca reports.

“I’m convinced we’ll reach another final, that Gabi [Fernandez] lifts the Champions League. I’m stronger than ever and eager to leave the national team [at Euro 2016] as a champion.

“It was a very good season, but the sorrow was not winning the Champions League in Milan.”
