Real Madrid star talks about his special return to Levante
Real Madrid star Keylor Navas says it was special for him to return to Levante, after developing a bond with the club supporters.
The Costa Rica international joined Real Madrid from Levente in 2014, and on Wednesday he returned to stadio Cuidad de Valencia to help Los Blancos to secure 3-1 win away from the home.

“Coming back to the Levante stadium always brings back good memories but with Real Madrid I’m only thinking about us. I have to be extremely grateful to the fans of Levante, when I was here they always supported me. When fans like these have shown you so much affection over the years, one must be grateful. I’d been here for a long time.”

While youngster Lucas Vazquez says he knows the responsibility of playing for Real Madrid and wants to repay fans’s trust in him.
“I try to do my best whenever the boss gives me the opportunity. I knew before coming that regular playing time isn’t easy here. That’s why I will avail any chance that I’m given. At Real Madrid you can’t afford to disappoint the fans. It’s true that we’ve struggled in away games outside the Bernabeu but our passion has always remained the same – to play well.
