However, Boca Juniors President Daniel Angelici has revealed that Real Madrid haven’t make any offer yet, but has encouraged them to make an offer.

“We haven’t received any formal proposal from Madrid for Bentancur,” he reportedly told TyCSports.

“The [€10m] figure being used isn’t correct. The clause is lower than what is being discussed. There’s a lot of talk but I want to see a written proposal.

“If it comes I’ll analyse it because it would be very convenient for the club and the player.”

Meanwhile, father of Manuel Godoy has made a sensational claim that Real Madrid tried to hide their involvement with his son to avoid the FIFA’s investigation. Manuel Godoy is currently training with Madrid based academy under Miguel Coira.

“We never signed any official document,” Godoy Sr. said. “They did send a letter telling him he had to join up for the season. [Then] one Monday they told the kid that he could not train. They told us FIFA were investigating. When Manuel did his trial with Real Madrid we were already living in Madrid a few months before.

Real Madrid chose Manuel and they sent him the form, and more, he played some tournaments and won an international tournament in Rimini. In other tournaments, Manuel scored three goals and Florentino Perez himself came over to give him a hug. Manuel is still training with the Coira academy, and has been called up by the national team of Venezuela. The laws are tough and the kid cannot play on the weekends like the others. I cannot tell you that Manuel is good. What is happening has affected him. He does not understand what is going on.”
