PL boss: Leicester were more consistent than Real Madrid and Barcelona
Arsene Wenger has suggested that Premier League Champions Leicester City showed greater consistency than Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Leicester only lost three games for the whole season, and Arsenal boss feels it was tough ask to follow, even for club like Real Madrid and Barcelona.
“I knew our position was a bit artificial in December. We needed an exceptional second part of the season but we didn’t deliver that.”

He added, “Overall we finished second in the league and we have to congratulate Leicester. They’ve been exceptional and lost only three games.

Meanwhile, former Real Madrid manager Rafa Benitez says he has no problem of managing in the Championship, as Newcastle will play in the second tier of the English Football.

“Obviously winning trophies around the world and being in the Champions League is what you are looking for and expecting.

“Sometimes it’s in League One, sometimes the Championship and sometimes the Premier League.
“So things don’t change too much.”
