Casillas, who joined Porto form Real Madrid in the summer of 2015, after ending his long term association with Los Blancos

“Casillas’ signing has been a complete fiasco. Not only has he not met any expectations we had, but he has cost us games, the League and our early elimination from the Champions League,” he is alleged to have said.

“His salary is unaffordable for the club. If he goes to the United States, because I’ve been told he’s wanted by New York City, it would be the best transfer we have done.”
