Luka Modric revealed his idol and discussed his relationship with Ronaldo
Luka Modric revealed that he always idolized Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane, as a kid.
The Croatia international gives an interview to FIFA.com, in which he praised the Los Blancos legend and admit he is excited to work with Frenchman.
Modric says Zinedine Zidane is one of his kind, and he is the inspiration for many young footballers of his generation, including Real Madrid playmaker.

The Croatia international also discussed the training sessions under Zidane. While Real Madrid star was so vocal with his praise for newly appointed boss, says he can still walk in the playing-eleven and revealed how he left players speechless with his skills in the training.
The French trainer has been quite a positive impact in the Los Blancos dressing room, which looked disjointed and isolated under former boss Rafa.
“Zinedine was an idol. He was one of the players I admired as a child,” Modric revealed.

“I think every young player admired him because he was one of the best of his generation.
“Every piece of advice he gives you is like gold dust and it helps you improve on the pitch. I’m amazed by what he can do with the outside of his foot.”
Modric was also asked about his relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo, the midfielder admitted it is a great experience to share dressing room with one of best player in the World.
Modric hailed the dedication and the hard work of former Manchester United star, and feels he is perfect example to follow
“He’s an amazing teammate and to my mind the best player on the planet,” he continued.
“Sharing a dressing room with him is fantastic. You can learn so much from him: his desire, how hard he works every day, the effort he puts in. It’s incredible.”
