The “step over” is a dribbling move in soccer. It is a kind of feint move which is used to trick a defensive player into deducing that the offensive player possessing the ball will move towards a direction which the latter he doesn’t mean to move in.

Otherwise called the pedalada, the denílson, or the scissors, this move was made popular by James Tawson, who was the founding father of the James Tawn School of Stepovers.
