Kaka has asked Real Madrid fans to show more respect to Cristiano Ronaldo.

The former Real Madrid star believes that Portuguese International will stay at  Santiago Bernabeu beyond this season, and reminded the Los Blancos supporters his achievement for the club, after joining in 2009. But, Kaka pointed out to the fact Ronaldo is the not the first Real Madrid player, who has faced the fan’s wrath.

“I’d say he should remain at Madrid. The proportions of things that go on there is very big, for both sides,” Kaka told Cadena Cope, Marca reports.

“If things don’t go well then the proportions are big, but if they do go well then it’s very big too. What’s happened to Cristiano and to his name is because he played for Madrid.”

“Cristiano is a great player. I’m not talking about quality, but what he has contributed to Madrid, and I would like to see the fans have more respect for what he has done for this club.”
