The former Liverpool manager has come under the high criticism for his tactical approach, as he wasn’t the popular choice among the players and fans to replace Carlo Ancelotti. There were doubts, whether Rafa Benitez can manage the club like the magnitude of Real Madrid and keep the superstars like Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale happy at the same time.

The Spaniard was off to the decent start at Santiago Bernabéu, however Real Madrid’s unconvincing displays against the bigger oppositions, has put his positions in questions. At the same time, since he has taken charge there are rumors of unrest in the dressing room, with senior members of squad are unimpressed with the methods of ex Chelsea boss.

Talking to  Omnisport, Capello, who led the Real Madrid two La Liga titles has tipped  Zidane to take the charge of club at the end of season.

“You need to understand what happened. It is difficult to speak unless you know what happened inside the team and the club. I prefer not to speak about this but it is clear they have difficulties at the moment,” he said.

“All the people in Spain think the president supports him [Benitez], but it will interesting for Zidane because he manages the second team, which is very important to understand what he needs to do. It’s very different as a manager. It’s possible that he’ll be the next Real Madrid manager. I also think Rafael Benitez will finish the season.”
