Denis Cheryshev says it was easy decision to join Valencia, as winger leave  Real Madrid until the end of season.

The Russian International was linked with the hosts of club, including Premier League outfit Liverpool, but opted for Valencia move.

“It’s a very important opportunity for me and I hope to live up to this challenge,” he said, Marca reports.

“I’ve come to Valencia especially because of the interest the club has shown in me. The Coach has also shown interest and it’s been a pretty easy decision because this is a great club.

“I come with the maximum hope of helping as much as I can and I will work hard from now on.

“Football is about moments and its true the team is going through a difficult time. I believe with work that Valencia can come out of this difficult situation.

“I can’t wait to get out on the pitch and get to know my teammates. Everything depends on the Coach, that’s his role.”

But, Russian is hopeful that he can do job for his new time, and suggested struggling Valencia has enough armory to Cause Barcelona some serious troubles, but feels they have to be at their very best.

“Barcelona are a great opponent, very hard, but Valencia have our weapons and we need to use them,” he said.
