Cristiano Ronaldo is set to stay at Real Madrid, which could force Los Blancos to sell James Rodriguez to finance new signings, according to Spanish football expert Guillem Balague.

Balague hailed Ronaldo as best goalscorer ever, but highlighted that Real Madrid is struggling to perform consistently this season.
“Ronaldo – for me the best goalscorer ever – is not back to his best.
“Ronaldo – for me the best goalscorer ever – is not back to his best. He is in the best form this season, but that is still miles away from his best form which I do not think he will ever recover. That is the standards he set for himself.”
