In many ways it’s been another successful season for Cristiano Ronaldo. 61 goals in 54 games for Real Madrid, a third Ballon d’Or, a UEFA Super Cup and a FIFA Club World Cup is not bad going.
And while he seems to be enjoying himself on holiday in St Tropez, there is little doubting that the born winner would much prefer to be preparing for the upcoming Copa del Rey and Champions League finals.
But instead it is fierce rivals Barcelona who could be on course for a Treble. They face Athletic Bilbao in Saturday’s Spanish Cup final, before they begin preparation to face Juventus on June 6 in a bid to become European champions.

Nevertheless, 30-year-old Ronaldo seemed determined not to wallow in self pity as he enjoyed the sunshine in the south of France.
It won’t be too long a break for the Portugal captain forward though. There is still international duty for him to think about before he can completely relax.
Ronaldo’s national team currently sit top of Group I in Euro 2016 qualifying, and next travel to Armenia on June 13. Portugal then play Italy in a friendly three days later.
