Carlo Ancelotti says he cannot understand Real Madrid decision to sack Rafa Benitez, as he was appointed as Italian successor in the summer.
Rafa Benitez, who took the charge of Real Madrid from Carlo Ancelotti in June, could only last for seven months following the streak of bad results in La-Liga, and alleged bust-up with players. The former Liverpool boss was sacked on last Monday, and was replaced by club legend Zinedine Zidane.

Carlo Ancelotti, who was left devastated with his Real Madrid sacking has question Florentino Perez’s hire and fire policy. The former Chelsea boss criticized Real Madrid president decision making when it comes to management, and pinpointed the fact that his impatient nature is the reason that they haven’t achieve sustainability,and suggested changing managers won’t insure success.

“I also know that our work is surrounded by controversy, but this time I really can’t understand the decision. Madrid had only played half a season.
“Zidane is Real Madrid’s fifth Coach since 2009, but is the Coach always to blame? People can draw their own conclusions.
“I count Zidane as a friend of mine. We shared great moments in the dugout and won La Decima together, so he’s part of the team.
“Only time will tell [if Zidane is the right man], but Zidane certainly has enough ability to manage Real Madrid. I sincerely wish him well.”
