Zinedine Zidane discusses Real Madrid squad ahead of UEFA Super Cup
Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane believes the team is ready to play against Sevilla in UEFA Super Cup.
Real Madrid will be without Gareth Bale, Toni Kroos and Pepe, while Ronaldo is already ruled out of game after sustaining knee injury, and speaking after Los Blancos 1- win over Bayern Munich, Zidane said:

“Yes, we’re ready, after three games and three weeks of work, we are. Tuesday is our first big game. The season is very long and we need to maintain this line of work. I don’t think Bale, Kroos or Pepe can play, no. They have to come back. We’ll see them in Madrid,” Zizou said, AS reports.
“Karim Benzema? He’ll be with us and we’ll see. He’s ok now, better. But he hasn’t trained with us, the rhythm. When you can’t work with tranquillity, it’s complicated. Saturday he’ll be with the team and we’ll see on Tuesday. James Rodriguez? He only played 45 minutes but he’s getting up to speed.”

“I don’t care that Morata hasn’t scored, no. He’s getting up to speed. He played 75 minutes and gives us a bit of everything. The goal will come. If we always win and he doesn’t score, I’d sign for that,” the Coach admitted.
“Asensio? I’d like him to stay and he will stay. But let’s talk calmly, when we get to Madrid.”
While Ronaldo is edging closer to Real Madrid renewal, Football Espana reports:
“Cristiano Ronaldo’s Real Madrid contract will officially be renewed this month, once player and club representatives have met in person.
“Ronaldo is still on holiday after 2015-16 and Euro 2016, AS notes, but has discussed the issue over the phone with President Florentino Perez, and he and his agent Jorge Mendes will meet with Perez when Ronaldo is back training on August 10.”
