What Luis Enrique think of Cristiano Ronaldo selection for Ballon d’Or ahead of Luis Suarez?
Barcelona manager Luis Enrique has no issue with Cristiano Ronaldo selection for Ballon d’Or ahead of former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez,as he believes, there are good players in the other teams.
Luis Suarez failed to make into final 3 men shortlist for FIFA player of the year, which will be announced on January 11 in Zurich, with his Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi and Neymar along Cristiano Ronaldo nominated for the final vote.

The Portuguese International inclusion has come under the scrutiny from some sections, as Lionel Messi and Neymar expressed their disappointment on the exclusion of former Liverpool striker. While talking to Globo Esporte, Brazilian International said:
“I think we [Messi, Suarez and Neymar] deserve to be there for what we have been doing.
“I would be very happy if Barca’s trident formed the three candidates, for all the history we are making and for all we are winning, the three of us should be there.

However, Luis Enrique think Cristiano Ronaldo is the worthy nominee for Ballon d’Or, and he thinks that are many good players in the other sides.
“I always want my players to be in all these lists but you have to understand there are good players in other teams.
“I had no opportunity to make my opinion felt so it’s not for me to say but I would have loved all my players to have been there.”
Luis Enrique is strong favorite to win Coach of the Year award, after leading Barcelona to treble last season in his first year of charge.
“These prizes come because the team did so well last season.
“I am very grateful to be put forward for these awards but it’s down to what the players did. Winning titles last season as we did last year means it’s only logical that we are now receiving awards.
