Sergio Ramos admits he wants to stay at Real Madrid for rest of his career if  Florentino Perez remains club’s president.

The Spanish International rejected Manchester United to commit his future to Real Madrid,  and went on scoring  in  Champions league final, in his post match interview he lauded Perez vision to run the club.

“Our hard work has been rewarded. It’s been a difficult season, but the most important thing is that we achieved our goal.

“Scoring [in the final] is a bonus, and it’s a privilege to finish the season in the best way possible and to be in the limelight with goals in two finals that have made history.

“I went to console [the Atleti players]. They were great opponents, have had a great season and fought until the end.

“They knocked out strong teams, but the final is practically a lottery and both teams can’t win. Still, I congratulate them for their great season.

“[On winning the man-of-the-match award], it was extraordinary.

“I wasn’t well physically [at the start of the season]. I decided to take some time off and recovered, and I’ve come to finish it in the best way possible.

“[On Perez], I won’t live forever, but I’m proud of the way he chairs the club. I’ll always be wherever Florentino is.”

Gabi Fernandez is confident Atletico Madrid will bounce back from their Champions failure.

“It’s important that we were here, and I’m convinced that this team will bounce back to win a Champions League because they deserve it,” the captain told Los Colchoneros’ official website.

“We must be proud of this team. As of tomorrow, we’ll keep working. This is the beauty and cruelty of football.”
