Real Madrid set to sign Newcastle’s Moussa Sissoko after missing out on Pogba
Real Madrid are considering to make an official bid for Newcastle’s Moussa Sissoko, according to Football Espana.
With Manchester United are about to confirm the signing of Paul Pogba, Real Madrid has identified his French teammate as an alternative.

Sissoko caught the eyes of Real Madrid during the Euro 2016, as Zidane is looking to boost his squad ahead of new season.
“Madrid are linked to Sissoko as an alternative to Paul Pogba, who could take Manchester United’s offer though it’s reported Los Blancos have approached Juventus for Pogba.
“AS cites the British Press in claiming Madrid interest in Sissoko with a €35m fee mooted and after Newcastle’s relegation from the Premier League last season, it’s believed the France international is looking for a way out.

“Juventus, Borussia Dortmund and Everton are also linked with the 26-year-old, who impressed for Les Bleus at Euro 2016.”
While Former Spain Coach Vicente del Bosque has revealed that he almost named Madrid youngster Marco Asensio for La-Roja’s squad for Euro 2016
“We were about to take him to the Euros but in the end we decided not to because the competition was so big. He’s the biggest talent in Spain. He has a lot of quality, but it’s not my decision if he’s in the Madrid first team,” AS quotes Del Bosque as saying regarding the winger.
“I don’t want to be absolute, but I don’t see myself coaching. Of course, I’ll always be close to football, it’s been my passion and my profession,” he noted.
“Lopetegui? He’s got knowledge, enthusiasm and vitality. I had him as a player at Castilla and we have worked together. He’s a great choice, but I had nothing to do with his appointment, because I liked all the candidates.”
