With Manchester United are about to confirm the signing of Paul Pogba, Real Madrid has identified his French teammate as an alternative.

Sissoko caught the eyes of Real Madrid during the Euro 2016, as Zidane is looking to boost his squad ahead of new season.

While Former Spain Coach Vicente del Bosque has revealed that he almost named Madrid youngster Marco Asensio for La-Roja’s squad for Euro 2016

“We were about to take him to the Euros but in the end we decided not to because the competition was so big. He’s the biggest talent in Spain. He has a lot of quality, but it’s not my decision if he’s in the Madrid first team,” AS quotes Del Bosque as saying regarding the winger.
