Real Madrid faced one of their greatest rivals, Atletico Madrid, for a La Liga match in which the two teams managed to have a draw of 1-1. Real Madrid ruled everywhere aside from the scoreboard as they give Barcelona hope in the race of La Liga in the wake of drawing with Atletico Madrid at the Bernabeú. Barcelona would discard their shot, however, losing 2-0 to Málaga in the 20:45 game. The game was a nervy undertaking with Atletico being quelled for long stretches yet a late Antoine Griezmann goal spared their bacon with time running out quick in the second half.

The first half began in a significant manageable manner. However, it was Real Madrid who had the best shots in the principal half. Cristiano Ronaldo had a shot spared off the line by Stefan Savic’s head and two or three Jan Oblak spares kept the game scoreless. Atletico were not without their odds. Saúl had a header that went inches wide from a Koke free-kick and Griezmann constrained an astounding recovery from Navas when he caught a Ramos pass and drove towards objective before unleashing a shot from separation.

The second half came at the perfect time for Atletico as Real Madrid were making progress and a dependable balance in the match and putting expanding weight on their adversaries. Neither one of the managers rolled out an improvement at half-time as they wanted to give the match a chance to develop actually.

Real Madrid proceeded the last known point of interest and continued thumping delicately at the entryway without ever completely declaring themselves in the match. Benzema approached after Ronaldo made a beeline for him yet Oblak was not in the state of mind for being beaten.

That was until Saúl was reserved for a handball out the field and Kroos remained over the free-kick. He whipped it in and after Pepe figured out how to lose his marker in Juanfran, he headed home with no possibility for Oblak following 52 minutes.

The game proceeded in that design as Simeone arranged to purge the seat. His first substitution was Correa, and he would massively affect the match. His through ball discovered Griezmann out on the left and with bounty still to do, the French assailant completed past Navas to make it 1-1 in the 85th moment and with insufficient time to react.

Zinedine Zidane will be in for some criticism, as many have called attention to the fact that his substitutes were fairly backward in taking off Kroos, who was controlling the match alongside Bale, who was developing into it as time ticked by.

Real Madrid still have three purposes of favorable position over Barcelona and it looks as if everything will come down to the Clásico toward the finish of April. In the mean time, Atletico will be pleased with the outcome as they keep up their target to complete third in LaLiga and construct force for the Champions League.
