Cristiano Ronaldo takes swipe at Barcelona defender Gerard Pique for mocking him in Barcelona’s title celebration.

“Even when they win a trophy they think of Cristiano. Right or wrong, they talk about me. But I have no problem with Pique,” Ronaldo said, AS reports, before being asked how he’d react if his son grew up a Barcelona supporter.

“It wouldn’t happen. He has his Dad’s genes. But if it did, I’d accept it. I wouldn’t take him to Camp Nou but I wouldn’t punish him. He’s my son.

“Having a son has changed my life in a lot of ways. He’s a very independent child.”

“If we win the Champions League it’s a lot more than Barca’s double. The Champions League is the dream. I’m telling you from the heart, I wouldn’t change,” he replied.

“I was annoyed [at trailing Suarez], obviously. I was close. But I have to congratulate Suarez, who had a great season.”

Meanwhile, Bale suggested that Real Madrid will find a way beat Atletico Madrid in Milan.

I suppose we can always look back on the final and when it counts we put in the performance and got the result. Hopefully that’s a scar for them, it won’t give them too much confidence. We’re confident going into the game that we can win like we are in any other game and hopefully we can win our second Champions League.

“You have to appreciate what [Diego Simeone has] done for that team. In the last four or five years he’s won trophies and they’ve always been the underdog. They’ve always been the team that’s probably had to fight the hardest and had the least resources. I think he’s done an amazing job there and hopefully he just won’t do a good job in the final.
