Cristiano Ronaldo has beaten Messi and other top layers to become FIFA’s Best Player award 2016. Indeed, Everyone is curious about how the voting system worked. But the biggest question is, whom did Ronaldo and Messi vote for? Did they vote for each other, or did they choose to leave each other out, to eliminate competition?

Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, who are the skippers of two national teams, i.e. Portugal and Argentina, voted for their own club mates, but did not vote in favor of each other for the Best FIFA Men’s Player grant. Ronaldo voted for Gareth Bale for the top position, followed by Luka Modric and Sergio Ramos. Messi, on the other hand, picked Luis Suarez in the first place, with Neymar and Andre Iniesta in the second and third places.
The two stars picked a similar strategy for the Ballon d’Or selection this year, as well, with Messi picking the same players in the same order, while Ronaldo’s vote changed slightly, as he had voted for Karim Benzema, James Rodriguez and Bale respectively.
