Alves refused to rule out move away from the Camp Nou, was he has one year  left on his current contract.

“I think for the fans, but not for us. We’re above that. And, the trophy that Madrid and Atleti are fighting for still belongs to Barca. We are the champions. It’s like Madrid have already won it, the opponent deserves some respect. We’ve achieved what nobody has achieved, they’re working for the same as us,” Alves said.

“I wouldn’t swap the double for the Champions League. I wouldn’t change for what isn’t available or in my reach. I wouldn’t change, I’d add. To change one thing for another is underestimating the trophies that are very hard to win. If it wasn’t, more people would have more trophies.

“I want Atletico to win. Not because I want Madrid to lose. Obviously, I don’t like it when they win. But I want Atletico so they have a trophy the level they deserve. Madrid already have a lot of Champions Leagues. I’d like then to have a prize for the work they’ve done the last few years.

“My future? I can’t guarantee I’ll continue at Barca. I live for today and for me, there’s no tomorrow. I’ll always be happy here because Barca has captivated my heart. Last year I’d agreed to leave but then there was another successful year. Now I’m on holiday.”
