Lionel Andrés “Leo” Messi plays as the forward of the FC Barcelona team in La Liga besides being the captain of the Argentina soccer team. He won his first Ballon d’Or in 2009 and again achieved the same thrice consecutively from 2010 to 2012. Argentine footballer Lionel Messi has scored a total of 295 goals in 327 La Liga matches in his club career from 2004 until now. He has achieved 0.90 goals per match ratio while playing in the Spanish league and is inducted in the top place in our list of 10 All Time Top Scorers of La Liga for scoring most goals in the League’s history. Messi, in his La Liga career, has scored a total of 295 goals in 327 matches while playing for FC Barcelona since 2004. Besides his club career, he has also scored a total of 45 goals in 97 international appearances for the Argentine national football team from 2005 till now.

It is obvious that the goal scorers receive assistance from their team-mates without whom, their records would not have been possible. But, at the end of the day, some footballers turn out to be the goal machines, and they manage to score the goals and change the digits on the scoreboard.

  1. In my opinion, Cristiano Ronaldo has the opportunity to be the best striker of Real Madrid. He’s doing extremely well, probably will win UCL this year.
